> The fastest train in India is the Bhopal-New Delhi Shatabdi Express whose maximum speed is 140km/hr.

It is the project to shorten the distance between Maharasthra, Goa and Karnataka. The total
route length is 738 km between Roha station (Maharashtra) and Mangalore (Karnataka).

Diesel locomotive Work: Located in Varanasi(UP) and manufactures diesel engines.
Integral Coach Factory: Located in Perambur(TN) and manufactures rail coaches.
Wheel and Axle plant: Located at Yelahanka(Karnataka) and manufactures wheels and axles.
Diesel Component Works: Located in Patiala (Punjab) nad manufactures components of diesel engines.
Rail Coach Factory: Located at Kapurthala(Punjab) and manufactures rail coaches.
